Backstory:

Calypso is actually a transfer student from Australia (I couldn't resist), her father got a nice promotion with his job and because of it moved to the United Kingdom. Already a student to a wizarding school, Calypso didn't have much trouble with the process. The only difference is that Hogwarts is a boarding school, her old school, Endeavour's School of Magic, was a combination of a day and boarding school.

But this didn't deter her one bit, she was more keen in knowing when and where her classes were. Her best classes being Potions, Transfigurations and Defence Against the Dark Arts, which are also her favourite classes. She hopes to be an Auror when she leaves school, if not something that is worthwhile - she's not the type to want to be stuck behind a desk 24/7 twiddling her thumbs, she'd even accept teaching as a career.

Upon arriving at the school she was sorted into Gryffindor House via the Sorting Hat. At least she got to bring her cat, Dribbles, along for some company. Calypso is very loyal to her friends and will help them out in which ever way she can. However, due to hard lessons, if she is betrayed, she will sever ties - unless that person has a VERY good reason to redeem themselves, otherwise, she doesn't want to know about it. Trust is a big thing to Caly and if she doesn't feel right around someone, she will make in known, even if it's not via too many words.

There are a lot of things that could be said about Calypso, but it's just best to simply get to know her.
